“The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will.” –Vincent T. Lombardi

made with love.

made with love.

I finally did it. After months of frustrating gluten-filled disappointing bread making (and complaining),  I finally made the crusty, warm, and delicious bread that I have been dreaming to make. It was a success. Credit? Credit only should be given to my adorable little red dutch oven. My little 5qt dutch oven has been working its little butt off since I found it. It was the only budget friendly dutch oven that I have found and it was well worth the $35 that I spent. So far I have made seared salmon, applesauce, bolognese, and now beautiful crusty earthy bread.

Fall was really in the air on this surprisingly warm October day. Driving with the windows open let the fall smells infiltrate our nostrils so much so that it inspired me to be in the kitchen all weekend long.

I also made some delicious home-made marshmallows

worth the mess.
